Not really when you get home take a long bath or shower, and relax watch something on television that you like or lay down and listen to a nice slow song and take your mind off of everything and everyone and relax!! I know I get like that sometimes and that is what I do try to clear my mind and don't think of anything or anyone at all and close my eyes and take it easy. Hope this helped you.

I would suggest that you ask yourself these two things. Do you want to work nights? Do you hate the job you have? Sometimes we may have to change jobs in order for us to feel less stessed. No job is going to be a thrill, but it should not be so streeful eigther. It is also a good idea to slow down when you get home. Everybody needs time to rest.

You need a good night sleep, and that is all you needed. If that is not enough, a day or two vacation or sick day. Take good care of yourself, and work your way out of these stresses. I have my own stress too, and I try to deal with it from day to day too. I hope that you will be well.

Oh gosh you have really tough with late night hours from your job. When you get home, kick off the shoes and try your best to unwind. Make a mental note not to think about what needs to be done, take a few deep breaths and act as if nothing but relaxing is a priority. Sleep well the first night of your new relaxation days. Then you get up the next day create a list of things that perhaps you would like to accomplish. Do not rush to get them done but rather view the list daily and re-write it taking off what was done and adding more to it. This will give you a clearer picture of what needs to be done and what can wait. Getting plenty of rest is the key. Best of luck to you and hope you can get some rest soon.

It is always better if you don't take meds for sleep. Avoid too much coffee or chocolate. I think doing some form of relaxation when you get home to 'unwind' is helpful. Do some light reading and/or listen to calming music. Good luck!!

Hi 3mem_18, Welcome to MyLot! That was also happened tome when I was working in a call center. Its very hard to turn your body clock up-side-down. After a month, I see my doctor due to my sleep problem and too much stress that I felt everyday. My doctor told me to take daily vitamins, drink a lot of water, avoid salty and fatty foods, drink warm milk before going to bed. I hope this will also help. See You around.
