Friends. We all know what is good for us. The problem is we dont know how to sustain self-discipline. How is will power developed? How do you coach yourself to be a better person and steering away from all forms of evils?

The boundary between good and evil varies, depending on the values of each person. But there are absolute truths in whatever generation, race and religion - "do not do unto others what you don't want others to do unto you" is one of these truths. You will find that any religion has a version of this principle. It is one of the foundations of Jesus' teachings, even those who practice Hindu believe in it in their principle of karma. I'm sure it has its own form in other religions - Buddhism, Shinto, Moslem, etc. So that is something that one can't get away with. You reap what you sow. In other words, if we teach ourselves and our kids to have empathy for others, to be kind to one another and to be understand the value of community, then we can know what is good for us. Just my two cents...

It is usually rather difficult to achieve big goals by just one or two steps. To develop googd will is also the same.Good will comes from good habits, while good habits come from your daily life.So to develop your good will,it is better to take small steps in your life ,than to set up big goals without available actions.Just like climbing the mountain,it is impossible to reach the top without climbing step by step. What's more,it is much easier to take steps which you can't find any excuse to reach. So go on taking small actions after you set up your plans, and one day in the future ,you may find yourself standing at the top of moutain in your life, where the beautiful sky was as clear as crystal.

Hey there, Self-discipline for me is the key. I try to weigh out the pros and cons and remember that my intent is to do good. I may make mistakes along the weigh but am one to correct immediately upon noticing my wrongful errors. Remembering my objectives usually allow me to continue to steer in the right direction.
