This depends on the woman. I have a friend that resigned from her job because she wanted to rest at home during her pregnancy and then wanted to stay home and raise her family. I have another that worked till a week before her due date because she needed the money. If you regret your decision why not try to get your job back. Or perhaps you can find a new job? It is not a good thing to feel stressed while you are pregnant. Good luck either way!

I think it is a shame that pregnancy prevents women from getting a job. For alot of women this is when they need the money the most. Children are expensive! It is always best to buy things the baby needs before you have it if you can. Hopefully you will be able to find some income online. This way you can stay home and still make a few bucks.

hi laiyilzb, It's a tough decision, but your the only one who can answer your question. If you think your not in a high risk pregnancy you can still work. You may consult your OB and ask the condition of yours. Your OB can tell you if you can work or recommend you to stay at home depends on the result of your monthly check up. Good luck and God bless you...

I think it is very much a personal choice for a lady whether to work or not in her pregnancy. A lady that is pregnant might feel tired and unwell so in that case she would be better not to work. Most ladies work for the early and mid part of pregnancy. Then they go on maternity leave somewhere between 29 and 36 weeks pregnancy. A lady that already has kids will have her children to care for and then she will go into labor. It can depend how physically demanding a lady's job is if she is going to resign or not. Some ladies have six months to one year maternity leave and then they go back to work.

This is very much a personal choice. We're all different, and we all need different things. I wouldn't recommend being a stressful environment, but I think if you can avoid it, you should be able to work if it's something that you want. If you prefer staying home, that's fine too. Ultimately it should be your decision. I don't think that you should stay home all the time, if you don't want too.

It depends upon person to person and also upon the cruciality of different months during this period the lady must feel happy at any cost Avoid going out if you have any pains in ur legs and if there is any problem with ur blood pressure or if there is some swelling you can take a temporary off from job and can utilize time in work from home type jobs

You should not regret it, after all its for you and your child's sake why you have to give up your work...You love your unborn child that's why you chose to stay home to make sure that you will be able to take good care of yourself till you gave birth to your angel.

I would say that you should keep your mind stress free. Working or not is not that important as it is to be not tensed. If you are getting bored, then better off working when there is still time. Wish you stay blessed and happy...
