Two inches is not that bad. Yoga is a very good practice for getting things back in shape. It will make your organs go to their correct place in your body. Set ups and crunches will get rid of the two inches. If you get into a regular regime of doing both of these you will keep the inches off!

The usual and most effective way of losing weight is through daily exercise. For specific areas such as the belly, it is best to do the "sit-ups". You must do this religiously for 10-15 minutes daily. For a few weeks you will get obvious results. It takes hard work and dedication to attain satisfactory results. Good luck!

Your pelvic bone does not change shape, however after childbirth your body does distribute fat differently. You will carry more fat around your hips and thighs. The most common thing is to just do standard toning exercises. Some of that "fat" is sometimes just abdominal stretching that just needs to be re-tightened. It may be best to ask your doctor what will work best for you since every woman's body is different and what works for others may not work for you. Especially when you're only talking about a couple of inches.
