As much as I would love to start saving, it is impossible. My husband works part-time and I cannot find work at all. Due to the bad economy we took my name off the car insurance and only have my husband on as a driver. I live in a rural area and there are not many jobs available. My husband's work schedule is always changing and it makes it hard for me to work because we never know from one day to the next what hours he is working and who wants to hire someone who may have to call in and say sorry I cannot make it into work today. I am hoping to get back into making crafts and selling them online again, but I really cannot afford the materials. I am into candle making, but the things for candlemaking is expensive. Hopefully after I pay off my credit card bill I can get back into this and make money again.

Hi Payout! Nice to see you again my friend here at Mylot. Oh most of my office mates were already anticipating their salary yesterday. We usually received them on the 14th (but usually comes in our ATM 13th in the evening). Since 14th was a Saturday, they thought that it would come earlier than the 13th. I was the only one with my bank account that was enrolled to online banking. (I guess they got lazy submitting the documents to our other site). So I was designated to watch once our payroll was credited to our ATMs. We had a funny incident yesterday, when a co-worker who was absent sent me an SMS. I read it and said "The salary is in? Thanks". So I announced the good news to my team. The team was elated and got excited. Until, a co-worker said "How come her message to me was a question mark?". And then I re-read and indeed saw the question mark. OMG! I made the mistake! Maybe I got so excited reading it that I overlook the punctuation. Funny how one punctuation can make a difference. We had a nice laugh yesterday. Anyway, to answer your question. Indeed money come and go that fast. I was mentally calculating our expenses and I said, geez the money wouldn't even land my palm. They all go directly to our monthly bills. We receive our salary once a month. So we really need to budget it wisely until the next month's salary.

Hey sweet pea, My my lot friend it's good see you lol.. Yah that is very funny I am sure you arent the only one who laugh about your mistake hahaha.. But it happens. But I don't know what I would do with a monthly pay check .. I agree that would be hard to budget since its only once a month and you have to maintain it for once a month.

Hi girl! How are you doing? Oh well I got used to it for years now. I have been on a monthly payroll for the past 6 years. It somehow polished my budgeting skills and it is really just a breeze now. Although I cannot say the same for my younger colleagues. They hardly get by to reach next month's payroll. Oh they are young and sometimes careless with their money. Good thing they still have their parents to back them up when they go penniless.

What you say is correct, our money comes to us and goes out very fast easily. We earn small small income from all sides but within few hours or days, all our money is being spent very fast. Earning a little amount of money is very difficult but to spend it is so easy. Even though our spendings are unlimited, money coming to us through those small earnings makes us happy. I love to have a some amount of money in our bank account, which will increase and increase from the interest to it.

Good for you. We seem to bring it in and send it out almost as fast. We transfer fund each month to a saving account. It's amazing how fast it will grow if you don't touch it. Best Wishes.

Yes money is like water sometimes,. Many times I spend money and later in the week I do not remember what I spent it on. Other times it feels like I did not buy the things I really needed. I have started to do a family budget. Hopefully this will help our money stretch further!

Wow, I wish that my husband and I could save that much money. Unfortunately, this is certainly not the case. We're lucky if we can even save just a few dollars every month. I really do hope that eventually we will be able to save more every month than we are now. It can be somewhat stressful.

Hey dodo, Yeah believe me we was stress out as well lol we wanted to save money so baffle e long run and now since we went to a new bank and i work for this bank the virtual wallet for PNC help us a lot and wow. It allows us to budget and save money we can make a wish list and etc. It also helps you know where your money is going. Right now ours is going mostly to bills. It categories everything and then compares it to a months difference like.. Aprils wasn't as much as may. Then you can budget things and if you are close to your budget it would send you a warning through your email and if you gave a smart phone that can help haha. Overall .. I love the virtual wallet and I'm not saying that because I work there because it helps us save a lot of money haha.. :) I wish you both the best and hope you save and have less stress :)

oh yes money comes and go. Personally with family and kids..it is hard to save, there are so many expenses and honestly our savings are not that high and it is hard with all the kids and two of them in school.. it is good on your part because you are still young and you and your bf get to save before starting a family,,

Yes, I can relate to this discussion perfectly. Money comes and it goes and the relally wird thing is that you are so happy one moment that this month you have saved a lot. But the next momen, youhave to use the "saved money" for something. I will give an example of making-money-online- person who was so enthusiastic about this earning opportunity that he spent a lot of bucks on buying irrelevant ebooks and soft-wares but he could not use it. In the end he wound up spending 5000$ on ebooks and soft-wares and his online earnings were 0.00$.

Hey GoldenAsh, Yeah Seems like sometimes we have to dip into the savings now and then but very little dipping hahaha. but thats for emergency money serious money that comes in handy for serious moments. I think the more we can save even if its a little bit it can come in handy for the future and if you have a savings account that builds interest I would be super happy haha

Oh good that you know how to save your money. My money does come and go and that's because i have to pay for my house loan, my son's tuition fee as well as other expenses. So I'm just thankful that i never came short of money and everything just come at the right moment when i need them. Someday i wish i could save as much as you do.

Me, and my Boyfriend are planning to buy a home soon and because of that I am sure a Home will come with extra bills haha.. so yeah saving for emergency money and for down payment seems like a good idea for the future haha.. And so I am sure that a good fraction will go soon. once we get the and make it nice.

I wish I could save up some. Idk what happens. Money comes and goes, just like you said. I don't earn elsewhere than online and that is mylot. I do get my pocket money monthly and that is hard to save up too. I basically use up all within the month so i have nothing in my bank. My bank's probably crying =(

Hey Thatgirl, Yeah I dont like taking cash every where with me and the lighter my wallet the better haha.. Because If I can see my money in a Virtual way then I am very happy and I can and I do see my money in a level of understanding. That works well :) Bank is crying haha.. Funny

Dear Mr. Payout I recommend you on using Time Deposits. You deposit some money you want to save and after time passes you could have it. Then invest it, go shopping, gambling ang there you have it.

Hey MetroX, I transfer it on my own, or I just can have it to automatically take a amount of money and transfer it right over haha.. But I rather save the money. Also save the money again and in a diff account for short savings and use it later :)

Hey Gyani, Haha... I Bank with PNC and I work with them they have this thing call Punch the Pig and every time you punch the pig you add a dollar to your savings account lol.. you can change the number to anything 5 or 10 if not you can automatically transfer it too. The more money you save the better because to me its always good to emergency money on the side because anything can happen. :)
