How can people do things like this?

Last February, 6 people, men and women, tortured, raped, stabbed and killed a 30 year old mentally challenged woman. She was tortured for 33 hours then stuffed in a trash can and left in a parking lot.

How can people do things like this? They must be sadistic horrific people. They have admitted their guilt to some degree, but each one is blaming another. I feel they are all equally guilty. Any one of them could have stopped it, but no one did.
The trials are going on right now. Many more horrific details are coming out and they are sickening. I really don't know how anyone could do all those things.
I don't even think they deserve a trial...but then again, I guess they need to suffer in some way just like they made Jennifer suffer.

What happened to Daugherty is really appalling.I cannot believe this is really happening in real life.I learned a lesson to what happened to her.Never trust someone you don`t know and life is a cruel world so let`s be careful in all our actions.

I agree it is most appaling. What do you think drives people to do things like this? I cannot imagine where their minds were. It appears the 17 year old started it. She was apparently jealous of Jennifer..although I don't know how that could be, but they are all equally guilty.
