How Long Has it Been?

I was just sitting here thinking that when we were young we used to pull out the Scrabble board or the Monopoly board games and either with family or friends would all get together and all play the game for hours and hours, now it seems they are really done away with because now we can play games on line another high five to technology!!! But do you sometimes miss all that? Sitting down at the table with friends or family and playing the old fashioned way the board games? When was the last time you did that?

I cannot even remember. I do have both a scrabble board game and a monopoly board game in the next room. I remember playing with my boyfriend a year ago but it isn't as fun as playing with friends and family, the more the merrier.

Yea I agree! I can not even remember the last time I played either one of those games! It has been years, I would like to play one, but I don't even know if I still have them around?

Since my children are old we do not pull out games but every February and August our front room is bombarded by board games for a full month. My boyfriends 11 year old visits for a month at a time twice each year and she absolutely loves the board games so our last time was the entire last February and this August it will happen again.
Our front room will only be tidy when she goes to bed then raided again as she gets up with games everywhere.
