http://elections.nytimes.com/2012/candidates Notice anything peculiar with the line up? It's soooo WHITE. Where's Herman Cain? Is the NYTimes showing its true 'colors'?

Is this just what the NY Times is predicting, or have they all declared? It will be interesting to see how it pans out. You cannot make people run. It would be nice if all races could feel represented. Let's face it, it is still hard to have women run, and people of various religions.

Herman Cain has declared himself a candidate. I'm not sure of the others. I don't think all of them have officially declared as Cain has done.

I KNOW for a fact the Donald hasn't officially declared yet. Not unless I slept through it.

I probably would have slept through it. It would be different to have him run, just as it was different to have Sarah Palin run.

Could be the NY Times think they have shown they were not racists by their exaggerated support of Obama. So now they do not need to include another non white (Cain) candidate!!??

I think that they KNOW Herman Cain can whip Obama's butt in any election and choose to marginalize him. Think about it, they cannot beat the Republicans over the head with taunts of racist and they wouldn't be able to glorify Cain as they did Obama cause he's Republican. They would be in a real quandry.

Very true! "Glorify" is the word I was looking for describing the NY Times and most of the media when reporting on Obama, thank you!

I notice it said Possible Candidates. However, it is indeed so white, and it does ignore those minorities who have not only stated that they are runnig, but also those minorities who might possibly run. I would have to conclude that the NYT is a rascist rag who is trying to portray the republican party as a rascist party....just like the so-called MSM usually do... So this is nothing new. At least the Gop is not the slavery party like the dems are.
