According to some studies that had been made abroad apples are very effective in cleansing out your kidneys. It has an enzyme that helps the tubing in the kidneys to become more slippery making filtration much easier. It also helps in relieving the pressure inside the body that is caused by buildup of fluids in the kidneys. I tend to drink Apple juice most of the time but prefers eating them or throwing them on the blender with other fruits. Research suggests that apples also may reduce the risk of colon cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer. So it goes to show that "An apple a day keeps the doctor away."

I'm not sure about that even though i'm having my daily dosage of fruits. In my fruit meal, it consist of many other fruits other than apples because of the taste, texture and vitamins they bring to my body. I'm not too bothered about the type of benefits they bring to me, except for the fact that they are healthy and keeps me full in a good way. To add on, apples must be eaten together with the skin. If not, it's wasted.
