well i started my new job a week ago and i was wondering if anyone knew what the percentage of takes are taken form a paycheck when I'm filing as single? i know that as far as the state tax it my varies for where you live. so i live in Maine. so is there a site or some kind of math that i can use to figure out how much my paycheck is going to be. thank in advance for any help that you can provide me.

I am sorry i can't help you with this concern of yours i know its quite different for each country and i live in the Philippines. Here single status with no dependent gets a tax deduction of 20 percent. That would also differ if you have qualified dependents. Thank you. Hope you can get your query answered.
