the most popular start of this week is here .....wrdiman saha gats a place in the indian team but the most talented often reputed by the great tendulkar ambati rayudu is once again is overlooked.this is a true indication of srikanths regional politics ..scrw him a***........

Please do not curse Kris, He is doing what every selector does. In the history of BCCI every selector takes opportunity to favor players of his state or region. Kris is doing nothing different. Every selector know it has a temporary job in hand as a selector and hence wants to make most out of it for his local regional side so that he might get some position or favor in his regions after serving as a selector. Corruption is deeply rooted in our system and BCCI is the true face of indian political system as its run by Politicians and bureaucrats.

well said vinod......kris is not much different from other corrupter's in India ...he has been biased towards tn players from the moment he stepped into selectors team ......he started it from Murali vijay...i think he is the only young cricketer who got too many chances to prove him he didnt utilise them though .......

Hi,
Being one of the selectors he should have maintained some distance between players and himself. But Srikant overlooks this as if he knew nothing about the on going things.
You rightly said that compared to Saha Rayudu's performance is far better but he he has something in his mind.

W.Saha is from bengal not from Tamil Nadu.
In IPL he represent CSK thats all.
but Kris srikanth always pick at least one fromtamil nadu.
this time he picked badrinath.
and for me he should have picked dinesh karthik instead of W saha, he is a good player and deserves to be in 16 member squad.
karthik is from tamil nadu still he avoided Dinesh karthik.
I think inclusion of murali vijay continuously in last season of Indian team was his poor decision.
otherwise he is quiet ok.
I think Aswin is also from Tamil Nadu.

Although i am not great fan of Srikanth either but to be fair to him picking Saha over Rayudu is not unfair to say the least.Saha has average of above 40 in domestic cricket while Rayudu is having average of 33, over that Saha is much better as wicketkeeper than Rayudu.Selection of a player on the basis of IPL performance has backfired many times.Talking about regional politics , yes it has been the problem of Indian cricket but it has reduced to a large extent now.Both players from Tamil Nadu , that is Badri and Ashwin does not need any favor or quota to get into the team, both of them deserve the place.Mr Srikanth and his team has made selection blunders in the past but this time they have picked the team on the basis of domestic cricket only which is fair for players.
