People On FB Looking for HOT People To Add As Friend!

I have been using Facebook for some time now but I never used my real picture as my profile picture. I just do not want people I do not know to have any kind of access to me (or see how I look like when in fact I do not know or see them). But the other day, I decided to post a real picture of me as my profile pic. I got my other hand on my waist. My other hand's elbow was on the door and I am holding my hair up. I was looking at the camera a little angled up while wearing an office wear like thing but a little fit to me. After I put that as my FB profile pic, I noticed that more friends have commented on my wall and picture. Also, I started having more friend requests from people I don't basically know and I have never ever seen. (By the way, my friends called the picture hot cause I was always like just a little innocent girl then I posed a little like a big girl there though nothing showy) So... people really tend to want friends that are "hot"? Or let's say attractive for them? I'm not saying that I'm really beautiful or hot. I'm just an average girl when it comes to beauty. But, I'm thinking that these guys actually think they can "see more" if they got me as friend, right? I think that's crap. I have not changed my photo yet as I'm still enjoying it. But I think I would just let it be there for one week then change it back to what usually use - flowers, environment, others. What do you think guys? Are you sometimes this kind of people or do you know anyone like this? Please share!

i know when i update my fb profile photo my friends always comment. i will also get alot of randm guys either trying to add me or message me. its always nice to have good comments made, but when its rude perv like comments its just very disrespectful especially when i don't even know the person.

Its better to put our real pictures on Facebook. If the picture is of yous then everybody thinks of you as a real id who doesn't have created any fake id to make people fool. Real pictures make you genuine and hence you get more friends. I never used any popular figure picture or anything else, but just mine and really have good connectivity. You dont need to put hit stuff on your Facebook wall just to get attention. Your genuine picture will give you more attention and requests then other things.

Well, yeah. But the reason I'm not adding my real pic is because I only wanted my real friends to see me. Anyways, just like you, I never used any other person's face on my FB. I just use flowers. Thanks!

I didnt like the way I looked and didnt want to post pictures of me my facebook profile when I first started on that site about 2 years ago. So I put up a picture of my two kids. I would send people I went to school with friend requests but they didnt approve me because they didnt know me by my married name. Once I put up a real photo of me they approved me. I have gotten friend requests simply because guys thought I was hot and I've sent friend requests simply because I thought the guys were hot lol so I know what thats about. You could post the picture to your mylot profile so we can see it and I will tell you if its a hot picture or not.

Hi! Well, I was also at first, I must admit, a little scared to post my pic because I'm not so satisfied with my face. Just as I said, I'm just an average girl. Anyways, I think I'm not ready to post my pic here in myLot... I'm shy.. LOL... Thanks anyway for sharing!

Well there are people looking for partners online. Also, the fact that many posted or commented on your picture means that it is quite appealing. :]

Indeed many of those people add Hot People wants to be popular or some of them can be consider social climber. I hate seeing them doing that. I ignore those crappy people. I will be using this like tomorrow: Add me if you know. Add me if you like to know me . But don't add me if you just add so can attract people.

I hear you, I get a lot of friend requests from people who I don't know! To make things worse my guy friends post romantic things on my pictures and my boyfriend doesn't take to well on them. I'll admit I am guilty of posting pictures of myself, but I'm more inclined to change that habit now.
