How to install on linux

I am really annoyed currently, I can't seem to get any programs installed on my Linux OS. Does anyone know at least how you can adobe flash on a linux since all the downloads so far have failed

What Linux distro are you using? have you tried going to the adobe website and downloading the right package for your distro?

ubuntu, latest version, i think it was 10.4 or something like that
