they were really cute and adorable, I really dont know why people kills them for fur. I mean they were nice animals, they were not pest for farmers, they were not even edible but people kill them to turn them into a coat, scarf or bag. I also love the way they chew their food. They were very affectionate animals for a rodent compared to hamsters who tries to bite people. They were so good to touch.

I know! I dont know why you would kill them! They make much better pets than coats:/ Im glad someone else here is a chinchilla fan lol! Our chinchillas are very energetic and young. They are always running around the cage jumping all over the place!

What is the main diet of your chinchillas and how to you maintain them? They were kinda expensive in my country... T_T But I want to have one. Is it okay to make them wander around the house? I saw a video before on how they were turned into coats and its really heartbreak. They cry while being skinned alive. I understand killing animals for food but I will never understand killing animals for fur.

I had two chinchilla's years and years ago. I would love to have them again. I am going to try to get a couple from a chinchilla rescue group. I really miss having them
