What is up with the weather?

I am talking about New York weather this spring although if anyone else from anywhere else is experiencing crazy weather I would love to hear from you too! I never had to use my heat after April and we are now more than halfway into may and I had to call to get an oil delivery as we are still putting on the heat in our house! I wonder if it is all connected with everything else going on in the world weather wise. I believe tomorrow it is only supposed to be in the 50's and I clearly remember attending may college graduations where ther weather was around 90 degrees. I realize that is unseasonably warm but I would take it any day over colder weather. If global warming is occurring does it affect all the seasons so that they are more closely related and not really the extreme highs and lows?

I don't think it's the extremes. Here in Manila, Philippines it's quite hot. I mean it's scorching hot. At home it's like I'm inside a microwave.

Hey, it is the same in the South too. I just experience some crazy weather over this week. All of the sudden, I think it was after the storm from other states closed by, and the weather suddenly changed to cold. Monday, Tuesday, and even today, I have to wear long - sleeve, and somehow last night, I have to put on the heater before I go to bed. I don't know what to say.

I think things just go in cycles. I talked to a lady on Friday who remembers it snowing in Mid May here in Kansas. We had two or three summer like days two weeks ago, then we have been using heat at night again the last week. I remember in my childhood getting snow in May in Oklahoma one time. I also remember weather in the 80's at Christmas, and in February. It may be that the weather patterns are shifting.I know we have had very few tornadoes in Kansas this spring, while all others around us and south of us have been devastated. It is a record breaking year.
