A cat rescue journal, day 9

Didn't spend much time with kitty today, worked so long and didn't get home until late. I've decided to name her Twinkle Toes, I'm sure there's a better name for her, but that's the only name that comes to mind now, at least it did when I decided that earlier on. Still waiting for a vet appointment for her, hopefully it happens soon. Looking forward to trying to socialize her with us as soon as she heals.

Hi, kris.....If you can wait a little longer, I think the cat will pretty much name itself if it hasn't already. Names can be suggested from the individual personalities of the kitty. This one has already shown you that she is independent, reclusive, defensive and scared. I kind of doubt that Twinkle Toes goes along with any of these traits. You're around her most often so her personality toward you should suggest some appropriate names. I do hope she eventually socializes well. The younger they are is for the better. Who are you working with? The humane society?

Working with an independent rescue in the city and they've been great. I'm glad I found them when I did.

I am glad that you have a name for her, that helps make it easier to relate to her. I am glad the wormer is something that will help her feel better.
