Public, private or home school

Public, private or home school which do you think provides the best education for your child? Home school or private, I think. Definately not public school. Home school seems to be safer and with the internet and library information is easily at hand. If I had to send my child to school I pray that I can afford a private school.

It seems like public schools in the US are a disaster, so when my son is of school age we will be putting h im in a good private school although it will put a major crunch on our finances. Home-schooling is a great alternative too, but not for us.
