Terminator messed up BIG TIME

Ya, unless you have been living under a rock(like me
)you know about Schwarzenegger and what has happened. Over ten years ago he was having an affair when their then housekeeper. She had his 'love child'. I was just reading an article about him and what his future looks like. Pretty bleak. He is "63 and physically wrecked".

Terminator 1 is one of my all time favorite movies. But not the part he played in it. The love story part of it.
He became governor of California in the 2003 recall election. THen in 2006 he was re-elected. Reading over this article I even have began wondering if his wife was someone he really loved or if he had it all planned and because she was a Kennedy heiress he picked her to help him in his political career. I just wonder.
The thing that struck me was the line that read: how does he once again reshape his image, especially in the eyes of female fans?" If they asked me how long will it take me to forgive him or if I would I would tell them No and Never. I believe a man that cheats can very well do it again and any woman that forgives is stupid. I do not forgive such deception. And, knowing his wife their seperation will soon turn into a divorce. Ofcourse being a part of the Kennedy's I could be wrong. The wives in that family seem to do alot of forgiving of such things.
So, what do you think? Will Swarzee find a forgiving fan base and be able to act again? Will she divorce him? Forgive him? Do you think he is as dispicable as I do?

Personally a lot of things that have happened with Arnold does make you wonder, and if the affair was over 10 yrs. ago that was before he was Governor, and for his wife to never know either she was blind, or refused to believe. Sometimes I think the reason they stayed married is because of who she is, and because he became so famous that she could ride on those coat tails as well.
As for forgiveness, that is up to them, but if it took over 10 yrs. for her to find out, it would make you wonder if she once Loved him too much to ever being to believe any suspicions and what happened to break that?

True... When you look at things in this light, it does make sense. Just why if it happened so long ago did it keep hidden out of the presses for so long? Because he was governor?

I think she believed in him and he was a strong enough personality he was able to cover his tracks. She is a strong woman and the type that stays with her man no matter what. Look at John and Marilyn!

Good morning, i never liked him to start with & his actions just make me disdusted w/him. I find him very despictable. I don't see how or why she put up w/him as long as she did. I bet since this has all come out she wishes she hadn't defended him like she did. Doesn't she believe as i do where there is smoke there is fire. He is a big jerk as far as i'm concerned.

I do think it is a despicable situation. I was heartbroken for his wife when I saw all the stuff on the news. It is devastating for her and all the children involved.I just don't understand how he could have kept such a thing hidden for so long and sleep with himself every night. I think she will divorce him. She is facing years of lies. I hope she and all the children find a way to get past this. I am not so sure he will find a forgiving fan base at all. I think it stinks the way all this has went down.

I think she will divorce him too. She has put up with so much. She may still not have known too. Ten years! Man. What a piece of work!

I don't really connect the act with the movie. Real life is very different from the acts and If I enjoy it, I will always like it. An artist's real life is not my concern as long as I like the story.
And when did anybody ever got scandalized by what is going on nowadays? Suddenly a lot of buzz is raised by one love child when it has been the norm of society. Moralists has pounded the pulpits to no avail and suddenly an outcry over this?
I don't think I should join the bandwagon to point who is clean and who is dirty. I tried to live a faithful marriage but I just can't raise another hue and cry over this "normal" occurrences.

I didn't mean to connect the act with the movie. I found that catagory and just thought I would use it because he had played Terminator. Sorry if it confused you. You call this "normal"? Ugh! I will boycott him. He lied and let this love child go on for over ten years before it finally came out. Now that's a jerk!

Well, I'll forgive the person but not the act...if he were truly sorry though.
I doubt if he would be. I thought that Maria filed a divorce already, my mom is a fan, though she is sourly disappointed by his actions. I hope though that for his sake, he will finally mature and understand that life isn't just about him...
I don't think that people will be forgiving him and re-elect him, though he might still make a come-back in the movies, it might be a success but I'm rooting that many people are not that interested in "Terminator" like me anymore, the concept is just too old no matter what the plot is, still it's cyborgs...unless he casts big names in the movie...

Ya, I might do the same. If he was repentive and very sorry. And did alot of begging and.......so forth. lol. Ya, the article was calling it Terminator 6 The Golden Years.
