Do God smile?

From the Old testament of the Bible to its New Era, few things are indicated that refers to God's smile. Most of the scriptures tell us about God's sovereignty, His holiness, His perfection, His seriousness to His Word, and His great love for us. But have you ever seen or imagined Him smile or laugh or even crack a joke once in your life or while reading the Bible?
As I get to know Christ in my life, I'm becoming aware of His feelings. Bible reading is really helpful to know Him more.
Genesis 1:26-27 tells us that God created man in His own image and that includes the feeling that we have right now. Anger, jealous, joy, forgiving heart, understanding, happiness, loneliness, etc. He has the same feeling that we have. He knows how to get mad, but God has a forgiving heart that He gain unlimited patience plus love which is what we so-called mercy and grace. He easily forgives if only we ask.
And He also know how to smile and laugh from His glorious throne (Ps 2:4)
imagine? How great it is when God smiles at us specially when He is pleased whenever we follow Him?
it's just like, when a father here on earth smiles when he is being followed and obeyed by his loving son. How much more our Father in Heaven? mat 7:11
God is not always an angry God... He is a loving God that knows how to smile and encourage you to fight the good fight of faith. He is with us always on the battle of our life, only for us to realize that He really loves us!
He really smiles and i tell you, He is so cute when He did.
try to make one for Him after reading this and you'll see His loving smile! ;)

He really do! It is our FAITH that makes God smile. Why? because every time we rely on Him, and we believe on Him, it's the time we touch His heart and makes Him smile.

hi, its like as if a smallborn baby smiles and each and everyone just a cute smile ,it doesnt knw anthing about these worldly sorrows and pains or anything, it just feels smiling and it sleeps if it needs rest and just the way God who is the creator he knws everything we do and everything , still he smiles , he knws what to do and what to giv to every child .

I know God is always smiling at me. It's because i always acknowledges his loving protection and provision for me.
Like yesterday, it was already late in the afternoon, when i waited for the bus to take me from my hometown where i visited my parents to my place of home in the city. I know that it is Sunday, so there maybe few drivers who went to work and some may have gone home because it's late. I keep on praying because i have waited long already. Suddenly, a bus that is on special trip, with some of its former passenger from an outing already gone, came and so we were able to ride.
While riding i keep on thanking God, and i know he is smiling at me.

you know what? God does smile when we appreciate Him even in small ways. God loves people who are very appreciative in His works so He is to you right mow. keep on appreciating Him!

Yes God smiles, He smiles when we Praise Him and give him glory, and when we have an attitude of gratitude. when we are obedient to God (doing what he asks us to do), he is very pleased with us.
I also believe that God smiles when we spend time in prayer and being intimate with Him, by setting a special time each day to spend with Him makes him very Happy, you know why? because you are telling God that He is the most important in your life. Thanks great discussion!
