An opportunity to interview

Working as a freelancer you are assigned a task to take an interview, which you accept readily. The person whom you have to interview is not known to you. You were not informed on the telephone. The person you have to interview will be known to you once you go to the office address that has been communicated to you. After reaching the office premises you enter into the office and upon entering into the cabin, you address yourself as a freelancer. You are given the opportunity to select between the two options that are available to you at that point of time which are as follows: 1. You have to interview a reputed business man. Reason is that there is just a new product that has been launched and the company is promoting it very aggressively. In the coming SUNDAY edition the compnay needs the interview of this businessman. 2. There was a competition which was held at International level in which a student has topped the competition and it is a huge feat that has been achieved by that student. You have to interview that student because the competition though very important is not known to many. At the same time the student's name has become famous because he has topped the competition. The choice that you have to make for interviewing is between the above two available options. Any additional thoughts, comments, experiences are most welcome.

I would go for the interview with the student that is in the competition that is not known because not only do you have a chance of probably being the first one ever to interview this potentially famous kid, but you may also find out some information about the student and the competition that could appeal to people and they would never have known the info had it not been for you. Either way it will end up very good for you and the student because both of you can be noticed by many new people. Your great writing skills will get noticed and this unfamiliar student and his competition all because you wrote the story.
