Advantages and disadvantages of having a car

The biggest advantage to having a car is freedom. You get to drive where you want, when you want...provided you have the money to do so, that is. You don't have to rely on anyone for a ride. Now for some of the disadvantages LOL: You have to buy your own gas. You have to have insurance. You have to pay registration fees on it every year. And you should keep it maintained. If you don't, chances are it won't last very long, which will only add to the cost of owning a car. And even with all that, I'd still rather have a car any day as it's totally worth it! LOL Happy mylotting!

PROS: You could go to your destination a lot faster, can avoid traffic (provided that you know the roads and other routes very well), and travel more conveniently (if your car has a working air conditioning system). CONS: (Probably) huge amounts of gasoline expenses, which depends on which country you live in, also feel tired especially if it's a long drive, and of course risk getting involved in accidents.

Well, it's very convenient to have a car, the freedom and flexibility provides, to be able to go whenever you want. But, of course there is a price, a big price, so be prepared! The petrol prices that are constantly increasing, the insurance premium, the taxes, maintenance, annual service, the regular checks that you have to make, the risk of damage from others, and the list goes on!
