Are you fascinated with people who have expensive collections?

I do find people fascinating that have expensive collections of their favorite things. they seem to take more care and pride and have more enthusiasm for the the items they collect.

It makes me wonder at how life could be unfair sometimes. I'm happy that they have the means to buy all those things. And that's honest. But, at the same time, I feel sad that one of those bags could feed thousands, or even make 10 houses for some people. I do understand that most of them also give to the poor. Personally, if I had that much money, I'd settle for not so expensive things and start programs that would help the needy to help themselves. Maybe some livelihood programs or things like that.

i have a variety of collections. antique books, old postcards, old glass bottles, that sort of thing that i have amassed over the years, however, i havent paid much for anything i have. the thing is, its just stuff and i think you can go way overboard with it.

I collect costume dolls from the different countries that I have traveled to. I also collect foreign coins and bank notes. I have two expensive dolls. I couldn't have afforded to buy more than that. It is fascinating that these people you discuss have collections worth millions. I believe it is fine as long as the collection makes the person happy and doesn't harm anyone.

I don't like expensive collections. I love collecting books, articles, keychains and money!! It is up to them. Like you said its their money they can buy anything they want. That is a satisfaction for them. For me as long as they are not wasting their money then it is fine. All their collections worth thousands dollars. I could say that they are saving money too as they can sell it back and it is a kind of investment. If I have money I would collect gold~ I hate wearing gold but gold is valuable nowadays.
