Are your profession related to your University degree ?

I have a degree in B.S. Psychology but I work as a professional life insurance agent. Most people find it awkward because they are expecting me to practice my course. Anyway, I usually tell them that Psychology is about people but being in my current profession is still about people. I meet a lot of people, I adjust the way I relate to each one of them plus having this course, help me to empathize with them. How about you?

I guess. I studied Communications as my undergrad and now, I am a freelance writer. People might say that I'm picky when it comes to jobs but I maintain that my degree and my current work gives me joy and satisfaction. It's probably nowhere near my other classmate's, colleagues and acquaintance's salary range but I love what I do and I won't stop doing it for financial reasons. I understand that some people have no choice in being underemployed but that is a person's decision and not mine. I don't want to judge them since I am not in their condition.
