How'd this happen -- life's surprises

I don't know why, but this evening it kind of hit me that never in my life had I ever considered writing as a means of making money. By that I mean that I never intended to be a writer, ever ... well, not until a few years ago and then it was only for the purposes of getting my novel published. Then, of course, there were some short story contests, I didn't do to bad on those. And now ... now my hand is cramping because I'm typing so much every day! I'm posting on Mylot, and another PTP website. I write articles on Triond, and I have another article website that I'm looking into. Last, but certainly not least because it started this whole darn thing, is my book, which I'm still working on. On top of these, I'm an artist and I've been trying very hard to get a better portfolio together ... and making tutorials. At this rate, my hands are going to be junk in a few years. How do people do this? Constantly type every day, day in and day out? I'd take a day off but I also really need the extra cash that my typing is bringing in, even though it isn't much, yet. Maybe some Alieve would help... Anyone have any tips to help keep hands from cramping?
