Have you ever experience of not being updated in any issue?

It could be an international and local news or private issue within the circle of family, relatives, friends, colleagues or even neighbors and the community? Have you experience that you are being not updated about the issue? How does it feel? What are the instances that you weren't able to know the issue right away while many people are aware of the issue?
When I was working in animation studio wherein there is no radio and television I was not aware about the local news that there would be heavy typhoon so I think it is the signal#2. The name of the typhoon was Milenyo which I think it happened last 2006. I just came home and about to go in the office again but then I have seen the flood already so I can't go out. Instead I just stayed at home. I already inform my officemate that I couldn't go because of the heavy typhoon. That was the only time I realize that there was signal# 1 or 2.

It always pays to be updated of all the happening around us. We can do that by always watching the news, either in the morning or in the evening after our office hours. Or we could also try to listen to the radio, specially when we are anticipating a calamity such as a typhoon.
I guess, i am always informed because i always watch or hear the news over the TV in the morning while i am eating breakfast or in the evening when i arrive from work.

That is good for being still updated despite of being busy at work. At least you are giving time to listen to the news.

It pays that we are always updated with what is happening around us. At least, if it was broadcast that a murdered is just lurking around the corner of your place, then you can be cautioned.

I won't go far but I will take it at work itself, there are things which happened and I am not aware of when I should be made aware of and when there is an issue then the person with his group will talk about it among themselves making me feel very odd. I dislike situations like this. They will do meetings and I am not in those meetings and when there is a client coming then only will they tell him/her that I know all these things, Sometimes I want to voice out the problem to the big boss but he is the same as the other are so this is why I am planning to move to another job to the soonest possible.

Oh! if that is the case then I must say that you are doing the right move. If the politics are being run within the company then I must say that what is the sense of working with them if injustices happens?

hi,
let say in my families and relatives,some of my relatives are secretive in my family,like when my cousin is pregnant at the age of 14,they never tell that to us and after 2 weeks past,and everyone knew it then that was the time that they told us about my cousin.we were been updated after for many days.

Meaning to say before you were updated about her pregnancy, other people that are not their relatives knew it before you as a relative? Did she got pregnant because of her boyfriend? Or is that any other case? Wow that is "KATORSE"

I'm always out of date for anything about movie. most of my friends always talk about movie, especially when weekend is approaching. i just enjoy what they tell me about a movie they are loving, but i never want to take any effort to keep my self updated about movie. simply because I don't really enjoy watching any movie.
I like comedy, drama, and horror movies. I will watch them only if i don't have any more hobby to do. i never even thought of renting dvd in blockbuster or netflix. for me it's just wasting time and money. so, when people ask me if i like watching movie, i prefer saying no, i don't like watching movie.
sometimes i feel sad to be outdated about movie. but then i realize everybody has their own hobby and I don't have to feel sad for not being well-informed about movie. it will not hurt either my friends or my future:)

There is this saying that same feathers flocks together but it does not always apply because we still have many differences and interest. I have friends that are interested when it comes to anime but then I am not updated about it. I am not sad because there are other interesting things that we like it both.
