I had similar feelings when I wrote for helium two/three years ago. The content expected and the manner is more US oriented. I do not know whether you tried trinod, bukisa. have a good day.

As others have mentioned, Helium is not simply for U.S. residents only. I am not from the U.S., nor do I live in the U.S., and I am still a member of Helium. It is also for people who live outside of the United States as well. There's certainly no problem with regards to that.

Helium is also for non-Us people. The trouble is if you are not in the States, you only get paid for page views. That means it depends on how many people see your writing. Whereas Heliums pays US residents on the basis of the quality of what they write.

I get paid twice a month from Helium and I live in the UK. I find it an excellent site for writing on and the payments are very good. It is also very interesting writing lots of different articles, at first I didn't really like their new assignment system but I am really enjoying it now and it is quite lucrative!!
