You don't know what your missing. Europe is beyond what you can imagine. I saw half of Europe already. I can recommend you a few countries, though all of them have wonderful sites. Greece is one of my favorites, with a lot of history and views. I love the mountains from Austria and Romania. Switzerland is beautiful too. Romania has two castles like Bran Castle, where Dracula came from :D. Germany is wonderful too. France is always crowded, thought because of the Arc of Triumph and Eiffel tower (you have to see them, i went right in the middle of the tower and i couldn't believe my eyes). The Cathedral of Notre Dame is lovely, though i didn't go inside, the line was too big. Italy is just WOOWW, especially the food. You have to see Pompei, Pisa, Venice, Torino. Go to Spain, to Madrid. The Netherlands is beautiful, windmills everywhere. Bulgaria is right beneath Romania, and you have to see Sofia. And soo many more things to say, but you have to see them yourself =].

Lol, yes there are many things i didn't say, i just gave you a general idea of Europe and the countries i have seen. The Vatican, the Leaning tower of Pisa, and Spain. Europe is full of history and fun places to go. So, make a list of things you want to see and check them off as you go.

I live in Europe and have traveled to many countries in this continent. I loved my trip to Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia most of all. I saw the beautiful city of Dubrovnik and did a little bit of island hopping. It was wonderful to have a sunny day at Lake Bled. My favorite European cities are Prague, Budapest, Salzburg, Lisbon and Istanbul. I adored visiting Cesky Kromlov in the Czech Republic. I had a very enjoyable and cheap trip to Romania and Bulgaria. I think that spending a limited amount of time in Western Europe where it is expensive can combine well with more time in much cheaper Eastern Europe. I traveled around Europe by train when I was 18 years old and I stayed in youth hostels. I would suggest you try to see a fascinating city like Paris, Amsterdam, Rome or Venice. The budget will be high so have just a couple of days there. Then you could visit the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia perhaps. All the European countries are worth visiting but I suggest you just choose around five or six countries in Europe to look around. I recommend you get a train pass and use the Thomas Cook European Timetable to plan your trip. Happy traveling.

Gosh all of Europe has wonderful sights and interesting history. The huge advantage too is the countries are so close together it's easy to visit several. If I were you I'd go to the library and check out some travel books and/or travel tapes and read up on the various attarctions in every country and then decide. Each country has it's own unique charm.
