It happened when I was in high-school, We had our extemporaneous speech and my topic was about politics. And our judges was our principal, our adviser and our English teacher. I was so nervous that I couldn't say something in front of my class.. not a single thing. I'm just spacing out of nowhere til my time was out. That was really the most ever embarrassment that happened in my whole life. how about you guyz? what's your story?

I had a lot of embarrassing moment in the past, especially during High school. One time, I was scolded in front of all my batch mates, that time they were practicing for a dance performance, yes, all of them, except for some, which includes me because we (I'm not alone) were exempted from it. The teachers kept on calling us because we were supposed to do our part already but we were not able to hear it because we were busy talking and listening to music. It was really a bad experience because we get to be scolded after we were 'special mentioned' to the stage! Another time is during grade school, when I participated in a story telling competition. It is the same as your case, where I stood there staring blankly above because I forgot my lines. It was really a horrifying experience and I went back home sad. I cried that time because I was not able to accept defeat. The last time I got embarrassed in class was when I was not able to answer one of the questions for my English defense. It felt really sad and I got scolded lightly by my teacher but I guess what's done is done. I am happy that High school is already over and now, I'm off to my second year in my college this June!

Yes, I can remember a few occasions when I was totally embarrassed in front of my class. Just recalling one of them, there was a time back in secondary school where each student has to do an oral presentation on any novel book that they have read over the holidays. This oral presentation contributed a fair amount of credit to the yearly academic standings so everyone was pretty nervous about it. Most people, including yours truly, wrote out a draft on the presentation and proceded to memorize it word for word. On the presentation day, I was halfway through the presentation when I forgot the next line to what I have memorized. I stood there speechless for about 15 seconds, with my teacher encouraging me on but the whole class was laughing! In full embarrassment, I continued on with the next line that I remembered but my spirits were crushed. In conclusion, I hate public speaking! PS: In the end, I actually got quite good marks for this oral presentation though......

The worst thing that ever happened to me was when I was auditioning for a solo in school choir in my first year. I knew that I could sing, but nobody else did, so I knew that I had a lot to prove to them all. Anyway, it got to be my turn and I opened my mouth and all was going fine. Until I had to reach a really high note which normally isn't a problem for me but I was so nervous that it just turned into a really high pitched squeak, and it was very loud. Everyone could have been polite (as my performance was good up until that point) but they just laughed at me and made me feel rather worthless. In the end, the solo was awarded to me, but I chose not to take it as I couldn't bare to sing in front of all of the people who had laughed at me.

Yes I did, when I was in 10th standard, My biology teacher started discussion about reproductive system. All of sudden, he pointed to me and asked to explain the THING. As girls were beside, I started feeling embarrasing. It's a bit weird but lovable memory.

My embarrassing moment was when I fell asleep during a guest speaker at school. I just so happened to wake up at the end of it, and once the speaker left our Principal began asking us questions about the talk. He asked me and, needless to say, I had no idea what the answer was.
