I have low pressure my normal is 90/60 and sometimes when my pressure is going down because of low pressure outside my head is hurting a lot, and even when my pressure is going back to normal drinking some coffee with sugar or eating something with glucose my head is not stopping to hurt... Do you have that problem too? maybe you have some ideas what I should do about this?

I am the same and have had low blood pressure for several years. It gives me really bad headaches, also fainting and dizzy spells as well. Mine although low is controlled but the headaches are a daily continual thing. So the only thing is that I do take a lot of Excedrin for the headache but we must be careful because what the low pressure does is that it causes not enough oxygen to flow to our brains there fore we get the headaches. My doctor recommends to drink a lot of water which I am and my blood pressure is similar as yours so no medication is prescribed for it. I checked the net and you can read more here: This is not a referral link: http://www.ehow.com/how-does_5398673_can-blood-pressure-cause-headaches.html

I do what this is like because I have had headaches since I was 8 years old. There is not a single day I do not have headaches. I can manage them fine most days but then later in the day it comes back. Then I have some days I cannot manage them at all. No doctor prescription to date has helped with my headaches. One time I was at the doctors office and he called an ambulance for me because my blood pressure was down to 50/30 and he said I should have been in a coma. Wow really sad to hear about your heart problems on top of all.

I have a staff that experienced the same thing a year ago. What we did was we gave her iron supplements, made her stop eating sour fruits and made her eat broccoli, bitter gourd and drink lots and lots of water. She also had to drink milk everyday and every night. We advised her to take things slow but we did not made her stop from working since she needed the exercise. Also, we monitored her sleep. I took away her cellphone too so she had no reason to stay up late. Sleep is very important to those with low blood pressure. Must not stay late and must have at least 8hours of sleep. With proper diet and iron supplements, she is now a whole lot better.

I am taking vitamins each day, drinking milk and lots of water, but when the pressure outside is going down then I have headaches and they won't stop no matter what I'm doing :( Nothing really helps, I wa taking pills I was taking glucose I was going to hospital but they couldn't help me. I'm always going to sleep between 10-11 am and sleeping till 7-8, now after my miscariage I can't do exercises 2 months... but I have normal activities and I'm going on small walks, and still when pressure is going down I have to stay all day in bed because I can't stand up from bed

I don't have this problem but it sounds rather unpleasant. Do you have any other medical problems that are contributing to this? also you may want to consult your doctor, there may be some kind of treatment they can offer you. For example if it is a blood flow issue then there are medications to help with that.

I also have some heart problems and because of this I was checked out in hospital several times, but doctors never gave me nothing for that pain, saying that when I'll drink some coffee with sugar it will pass, but I never helps :/
