As we grow older, we notice that people around us tend to be more occupied with their own affairs. Although we know they love us, it's just that they are so busy doing their other responsibilities or maybe getting richer and so we have to take the back burner side. It's kind of frustrating soemtimes, most especially for me who is a widow and not really sociable.I only socialize with the inner circle of my family, but they have been busy with their other things and I am really trying to understand them. Until I was drawn to the internet, and joined a couple of social network sites and I found some good friends online. Some have been in my realm for almost four years now and a lot have known of my struggles, my triumphs, my trials, my joy that has decorated my past four years. And now I have a myLot family. And I intend to bond with them by checking out their activities here and sometimes replying on their posts on my discussions. To all my friends in myLot...would you walk with me as I travel the road to tomorrow?

Yes I would. I too am alone most of the day when hubby is at work, children are grown. I do a lot of crafting since I can't work because of disabilities. I made 2 friends online 14 years ago. they both are STILL my friends I have met them both. I have another friend I have never met, but she had a baby and I became known to her child as GranmamaMarie. My friend's mother passed away from cancer before she had the baby girl. I have known her for 12 years. I have become the grandmother that little girl would never have gotten even though long distance. My friend has been eternally greatful. So yes I will be right there with you too!
