e-mail

I used to have a single account until I got the bombardments of all the spams out there. Then on I have made around 2-3 new email ids. One of them is for only official mails. I don't even go and visit the spam mails anymore since they are full of rubbish mails mostly. They just get deleted every one month or so, so I don't clean them even.

Yep I have a seperate e-mail account for most of the spam. It get's about 200 emails per day from the same recipient :-)

I do the same like you. I have one main email for contact others. It is important and I don't want to receive lots of rubbish emails everyday. So I also sign up some email accounts when I sign up new websites. I will leave one of these email accounts because it doesn't matter. I love China

Hi mindym ! Yeah, that certainly is what I have been doing for past couple of months. I have a separate e-mail id, which I use at the time of signing in to those suspicious and troublesome sites, as they keep buzzing me with their idiotic promotional schemes; as if I am committing a sin by not responding to them. Every day there is a mail titled- "himzey, last chance..." or "we have saved a special place place for you..", in my account. One should never let an official email id of his to be troubled with those unwanted newsletters and schemes because they often cross their limits, sending 3-4 spam mails daily into your account. Its really frustrating, but what else can be done. Happy mylotting. :)

Oh yes I do have dedicated emails for online ventures versus personal. I use to be a GPT user and quickly learned the importance and necessity of having separate email addys. Therefore, if anything seems too new and or fishy I will use my spam one so that I do not get the hundreds of spams into my personal one. If I like the site and can entrust there will be no spam then I will change it to my personal email address. As you I am amazed as to the tons of spams that come in daily.

Yes I do use a different email for everything I do just about in fact I have close to 30 different email addy's including 2 I have had for the past 14 years or so since high-school. I don't check them often but I sure wouldn't give a personal email for samples or survey's etc etc etc...

Yes i do have more than one mail id mainly because of the above reason that you have mentioned. If i register to any site then sure there will be possibility of getting huge mails from that site so for precaution i use to register those sites with my other email accounts and i will keep one email account for only business purpose. Few sites says that we need to add there email id into our contact list but i won't do that. Because if i add then it will come into Inbox, so better those non important email should go to Spam or junk box so that i can delete it whenever i want without reading them.
