Is marriage important to you?

According to Brad Pit and Angelia Jolie, marriage wasn't important to them since it's just a signature on a piece of paper. Love doesn't need to be on a piece of paper therefore for 6 years + they aren't married. They want to marry when the world is fair and allow gay/lesbians to marry then that's when they feel comfortable to marry. BUT, since now they have 6 kids who are growing up they ask about marriage and why their parents aren't married yet. They are re-considering marriage. Do you think marriage is important? You're technically just signing a piece of paper? What do you think???

I think that marriage is important because it's more than just a piece of paper. It's a promise to be together and forever; sure you don't need a contract to do that but it's just a girls dream of getting married and have a nice beautiful wedding day. I wouldn't want to be stuck in a relationship for 6 years or 10 years without a ring on my finger. I think that it's important to be married.

Though marriage is a mere paper contract real contract is made by heart but since we can not read each others minds, its best to have it on paper too. You can vouch for yourself but you can never vouch for your partner as to how committed he will be in future and may be you will be looking over each others shoulder not today not tomorrow but at times, where there are girls or boys more beautiful or successful then you. Its best to have it on paper to no it wont hold him forever he can still walk away but at least you will have peace of mind for your own sake and that will stop your parents questioning you all the time too. Because relationships are not singular they involve society too, your parents, his parents, siblings, your kids, so if you live in a society you have to live by its rules too. If you are in a live in relationship without any kind of marriage its just the trust you share thats holding you, but if its on paper too then even society has a right to intervene on your behalf if your partner leaves you. You wont be stuck without penny and two kids ...life is a responsibility hence its best to think of life and love together.

Marriage is not important to me. I've never had a desire. I don't have a need or a good reason to get married. I think all their children need to see is that they are together and that they love each other and them. I don't think children think too much about these things. All they know is this is our family I have a mother and father and siblings. They don't care to get into the technicality of having a certificate vs not having one.

Definitely. To me, i think marriage is an extremely part of our lives. It's easy to say we marriage is just signing on a piece of paper and it does not mean anything because many people do get divorce nowadays. However, a marriage really signifies that we are committed to the other party and wants to make a commitment, wants to make a promise to spend the rest of their lives with the other person. Furthermore, both parties would also have a sense of security. They want the world to be fair, I think both of them are being unrealistic over here for we have to admit that the world is not going to be fair and this is just life.

A tough question ya. Well I guess it depends on who you ask. For me personally it's not a big deal but I would like to get married. Since it's once-in-a-lifetime kinda thingy so I would definitely wanna experience it

Yes definately I strongky feek that marriage is very important thought we feel is just a contratual basis but marriage is something that God has created something beautiful ornament. In terms of brad pit and angelina without being married they have six children. I also agree to the fact that true love is always within ones heart. No other factors can seperate it. But it is also necessary to show our duties to God. Nit being married this strongky shows that they dont have future trust in themselves. So marriage is just not a piece of contract but a sacred agrrement between two partners.

Getting married is not simply signing a piece of paper. For me it is a part of committing yourself to the one you love. Literally it would mean signing but beyond those signatures is something more important. Signing is also a sign of commitment to someone who you want to be with for the rest of your life.

According to me i don't have a belief in marriage.. Not only its just a signature on a piece of paper.. Its a commitment that giving assurance to each other that i will be with you as a life partner ( just like an evidence to society ).. We are getting some products in shop and getting bill for that to claim re-fund or guarantee if we face any damages.. The same thing is marriage.. Why should we need an official signatures, evidences, bills in marriages like business.. If two hearts are connected, that's a second they are married each other...

Personally, I think it's not a big deal, but for my parents, it's really important. That's partly because of our culture. My parents would consider marriage is one of the biggest event of each person. Besides, we (including my children) can not receive some services from the Government if we are not officially married.
