Nowadays taking drinks is the common thing. That may be a wine or beer or alcohol. I have seen so many friends of mine who drinks in the night and they will ride the bike. I have told them so many times to not to ride the bike if you guys drink alcohol. So if you are the policemen or you are the rules maker then what kind of strict rules you will pass or announce for the people who drink and drive?

If I were the lawmaker, I won't be laying any rules to restrict these people. Instead I will hike the price at least 10 times, so that these people don't have much to drink. (Government's revenue won't be affected, yet the drinking habit will come down.) And I will make those Bars open only after 12'o clock midnight and upto 4 a.m., so that these people don't make any menace to the public. (My idea is, people who want to have these things can have it, but they can stock somewhere in their home. They won't be carrying it wherever they go. Either they have to go the bar after midnight, or they have to go home and have it.) Still, Punishments will be severe if they make any nuisance or crime. When there is less traffic and less public movement, it will be easier for the policemen to handle them.

I don't believe this!!! its amazing to see this kind of response. Because friend in your response you have mentioned so many rules which are not going to affect any one but the problem is nobody will accept your rules especially the people who does this business and the people who drinks.

Simply arrest such people and put them behind bars without food for two days. every thing will be solved. But that is not possible in a democracy like India. Rules are always broken. have a good day

I had to stop and think about this when I saw you were referring to a bike. With a car there is no doubt I would say zero tolerance driving drunk, but a bike is a little different. I suppose it depends on just how drunk one is. Judgment is impaired driving drunk so if the bike ridder is in traffic they could cause an accident. I'd be very strict on those riding a bike on a street.

I will send them to jail of course. They must be aware about the danger of driving with drunken mind. Many innocent ones lost their lives on the road because of these irresponsible people. If there is only money penalty, they won't be afraid.
