Taxes in Canada on Ptc and survey earnings?

I'm from Canada and am wondering whether or not I have to pay tax on ptc earnings of oh lets say 50 a month.I will not pay if they will not find out.I was wondering if pay-pal sends information on payments to the government.this is a really gray area i feel and most people are in the dark on how to calculate what they have earnings online or never keep records.Also you may loose on some ptc sites and therefore this would complicate things even further making people not want to bother paying money from the already peanuts they receive.
