This is a true story. When we moved to this location 25 years ago, into a rural area, a lab mastiff mix female dog came to our house. She had use of three legs, because the right back leg was just hanging limp without muscle. She had mange and was very thin. Our son wanted to take care of her,so we said ok. She quickly became the supervisor on the place. While digging holes for fence posts she would watch and when the hole was deep enough she would automatically move to the next spot. She loved to play fetch with anything, including large rocks, chunks of wood tennis balls [2], anything she could pickup in her mouth. One day we had visitors that had a daughter[age 3] who had siezures. She had had one a couple of days earlier and could not use her right side. She was on the couch when Lady came in. Lady went to the girl with a tennis ball and tried to get her to play. The girl would not do anything but watch Lady with the ball. I threw the ball into the hall, Lady retrieved it and took the ball to the girl again. The girl started pushing the ball off the couch and Lady would put it back. After about 45 min. the girl was laughing and actually throwing the ball and running with Lady. Lady blessed our family many times during the few years she had left. Maybo an angel in disguise.

That is a great story. I love it. Animals can do amazing things. It is awsome about their power.
