face a glass ceiling

that is the rough time in my life! this year i quit the job because some reason, but now i face a real problem that puzzle me a lot, if i need find a new job or run my own business, it is not so easy to find a good job, as i am 42 years even i was a professional manager in engineer field, yes i try to run a company with one of my friend but the situation is not so good too! what should i do ?autually the bad thing is there is nothing to be done today and don't know what will happen tomorrow.

Tough decision you have here my friend.
Yeah, I agree, it's not easy finding a good job when you have to compete with younger people. You can't be undecided for too long, specially if you have no savings to sustain you during your unemployment. Dwell on what you do best. Assess yourself on what you are good at and use it. Maybe with your expertise you can do some consultancy jobs to companies. If you have a lot of savings, it is better to run your own business, but doing so also entails risk. Whatever decision that you make weigh your pros and cons. Good Luck Samtise!
