I tend to get discouraged alot and don't wanna do much during the day because of the pain I be in. Its times when I can't move like im suppose to and can't get outta bed. My pain discourages me and I try to tell myself to get over it and get up. It doesn't always work and when it doesn't I just stay in the bed all day. Sometimes I go without eating because mentally im not in the mood. I can't keep doing this and don't know of any way of getting over it. I constantly look at the clock and say to myself 'ok im going to get up in 5 mins' and that turns into hours. I don't like being this way, im usually in high spirits but everytime I move the pain moves with me...ugh how do I get thru this?

I know what pain feels like because i have a son, but being in constant pain everyday must be awful. I am going to pray for you and hope that things get better. try not to think about it so much and remind yourself that God wakes you up everyday for a reason. keep strong and try to get your friends and family to motivate you

Thank you so much and I do try to think of other things so that I can forget about the pain. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But the Dr has diagnosised it as cervical osteoarthritis, I have nerve damage in my neck, degenerative disk and a bulging disk. So he says that's why I am in constant pain and have constant headaches. The medication don't always work and it sucks but I try to relax as much as possible

I am very sorry you are in so much pain. What is the name of your illness? Can it be cured? How long have you had it? It is difficult to go on doing anything if you have a permanent pain. Take care and I hope you get well!

Its Cervical Osteoarthritis I have nerve damage, degenerative disk, spinal stenosis and some other stuff. The Dr is trying to prevent surgery but I've already been thru therapy and that wasn't really helpful, I have different pain meds that don't really work. I've had this problem for 4 years that I know of. I say that because I never had a Dr diagnosis it before then. If I had then maybe it wouldn't be so bad

I am sorry you are going through so much pain. I will pray that you don't hurt to much. But have faith and you shall succeed in anything you do. When I was hurting that much after surgery I forced myself to get up. I did have to get help but after I got up I stayed up walking very slowly until the pain eased. But keep your high spirits.

Thank you so much and I continue to have faith. Unfortunately when I finally do get up, because of the area that's damaged, I can only be on my feet for so long before I start hurting again so it is good to get up and move around but maybe a hour into my activity its time to sit down and rest. It sucks but I keep the faith and continue to pray.
