Stale candy? I just HAVE to find out!

Alright,I just have to find out if there is anyone out there who prefers stale candy to the regular packaged ones, such as the kind you find in gas stations and corner stores in those little trays for 5 cents. I have this obsession for those sour keys, but I don't buy them in a bag, no, I buy them when they have been sitting in those little trays for who knows how long :O, because they are chewier, and i just like them that way. I found out that there is someone else in my neighbourhood who likes this too, because the store owner said that she had a batch of candy fresh out of the packages she gets them in, and a man complained that they were not stale enough. Isn't that gross? I am almost ashamed that I like it! lol

Who would want to eat stale candy? Not me! Not I!
Most of the candy that sits outs in these trays, at these old stores, can be stale because there is no expiration date on them and it is no telling how long these candies have been at the store.
