i am so sorry for you. Its so mean of him. Nobody has access to my computer. User password is not enough for me. I used to lock my computer through bios. There is a password before loading the bios. There are no chance to boot any cd to access offline.

I never share my computer with anyone. Because in my home there are only one computer which is mine. But I have made 2 accounts on my computer one is mine and another is home accounts. But I don’t give permissions to access my accounts activities from home accounts. And I never give my accounts passwords to any unknown person and also to my relatives when they use my computer for accessing internet from my home.

But the two user only controls only access permission of program processing. What is the reason behind it when u have only a hard disk in ur system architecture

I guess if your cousins are not to be trusted you should not have let them use your computer. And now that I'm thinking of it, why let them enter your house at all? I would not allow anything like this to occur. The person who uses my computer, if any, will do it while I am present only. Good day to you!

I cannot say no them as it does not look good to refuse someone but i think if i have refused them then i will not have been suffering from such a problem but all is over now so no point regretting.

Hi. gamma9967. I am very sorry that this has happened to you. I only share this laptop with my husband only. I don't believe in sharing my computer with anyone at all. You just can't trust people nowadays at all. My husband has a password and I have one too. So, if anyone tried to tap into this laptop by chance, they will have a very hard time trying to. I am very funny about just letting anyone use this laptop. One time, my husband allowed our next door neighbor to use this laptop, but he was right near them. But still, I did not trust them at all to use this laptop.

Yes it a very big risk to share your personal computer with someone because your personal details can be easily misplaced or used in a bad way so i just wanna say play it safe by bringing some good security features.

If you trust someone then to you must sit beside him or her when that person is operating the computer so there are very few chances of any errors or problems and always secure your personal data.
