do you know of any free photo recovery programs?

Hi, if this is just recently i suggest using up those 30 day trials. If you simply search "deleted pictures off SD card" there are many options for the programs. The first option on the search had a "free download" option, which i assume will probably indicate a free trial. So give it a shot, if this is just a temporary notion. If you don't want to spend money, i usually use torrents for programs ( it is illegal so its out little secret lol). Anyways, torrent the product your looking for, read people's comments about the download/torrent before downloading. Usually the comments will indicate if the download is trusted. Good luck.
