I made a post about collections and hobbies and told you, people, that I had given my dolls away to my daughter, except a very pregnant doll from the south Of Chile. I bought her a BF to help her out as I firmly believe that caring for a baby is a 2 people´s task. I was askd a lot about the doll so I went and took a picture of her and her BF so you can meet them. They are both handmade with pure wool. Here they are!

Thanks for sharing this nice collection of your pregnant doll with her BF here. In fact, this is my first time seeing this lovely handmade dolls from your area. It seems very artistic and creative way of creating doll from wool. Just very adorable. How i wish i can learn to make it myself, too. But i am not that creative type of people....

I can talk with things. And I´m sure everyone can do it, if they just listen to inner voices. They are there. Like, the doll was VERY happy that I took a picturwe of her and started a post here.

That doll called me. I was walking by one of those small stands at the street where they sell just about everything and watched all the horrible plastic things that were displayed there. Meanwhile the vendor was finishing making this doll. I asked her if she was going to sell it as she answered yes. She told me she got bored all day selling (and not many people buying) so she either knitted caps or made dolls. I waited while we talked and got her. The hideous platic things were not cheap at all, but she sold me this doll for abour $2. I did not undertand.

You said the doll called you? And the vendor sell it to you at $2? I think that's kind of weird. I don't know. I was just amazed on how things went before getting that doll. Seems like it has something to do with your life, or a purpose maybe? Anyways, you really love collecting dolls and it's obvious because you got your preggy doll a BF. That's cute!

There are lots of things that call me. And I bet they call everyone, only you have to learn to listen. The vendor sold it at that price and maybe it was the price she wanted. You see, most people are more interested in those horrible plastic dinosaurs than in a woollen doll. She made them as a passtime while she was selling. The BF was among my old collection, but I did not remember about him because I had put it away. I saw it when I started checking at the dolls for my daughter. The doll collection started in spite of me. My then BF went to Europe to play soccer with his team and brought me dolls from the places where he went. From then on, until he retired long after we married, dollls were part of his gifts for me.

stuffed toys - these are just some of my toys here in our apartment. I still have more at home. =)
Wow.. that's a cute collection.. Oh, yes, me, I know how to listen to them too. I also love collecting toys, the stuffed one. And I usually talk to them sometimes and treat them as if they were alive.

Wow, I've never heard of a pregnant doll before, but it is a neat idea, though.

I see the photo in box one. I love it, it really looks really cuddly. Something soft and easily huggable. I wonder if it takes a long to make? There is not a lot of detail but seems very nicely made.

I think it´s not hard to make, if you have the kind of real wool it´s made of. If you can get the wool, I can take close up pictures of thee doll.

The dolls - These are both dolls placed together by me.
The thing is, jak, friend, you are a man. I don´t know what is this about men and cars and women and dolls. It must be in our genes. I just fel in love with the doll whe I saw her and bought it immediatkly as it was very unexpensive. Then, when I gave away my other dolls, I found the perfect partner for her so I also kept the male doll. I don´t believe in lucky charms. My main belief is in humankind in spite of all the ugly things we do.

That hobby is cool and just keep it up. I have not imagine that there could be a pregnant doll. How about a dolls to represent every nation? I heard there were people collecting those dolls but not for any purpose. they use it to remind them to pray for people around the world of every nation and tribe that they may know God and have faith in HIm..

I had a collection of dolls from all over the world that I gave to one of my daughters a couple of years ago. I only kept the male doll from Chiloe. I made a post about collections a little while ago. My dolls had nothing to do with any religious purpose. They were brought to me by my husband when he went to other countries.
