daycare

I want to start an in-home daycare, anyone have any suggestions on what I need to do?

I'm not sure of the rules for other places, but here in New York if you are going to care for more than 2 kids you need a daycare liscense. If you have a chilcare council, ask them. I'm not sure where else you can ask.

License first your institution. YOu must have an educational degree. Book and and tools for learning.

Each state has its own guidelines and you do have to do the DOJ fingerprinting in most states. Just call or visit your states licensing website and it will give you all of the requirements. Good LUCK
