I have just read this article on this blog that I wanted to share technologicalcontrol.blogspot.com/2011/06/facebook.html The main point is that Facebook does really isolate us and by thinking of it, is it true? Think about it, how many hours do you spend on Facebook everyday?

I joined facebook and it was not what I thought it was gonna be. I feel like it is just everyone airing there dirty laundry. I use to go there daily but now I go there evey couple days. I first started out using my space and then everyone stopped using my space and started using face book. To me I like my space better because it is really your space and you can design it to your liking. I don't know if my account is still active but I am going to create another. It does isolate you because instead of being with your friends you just want to chat with them on facebook. To me, they should have made it better.

Well, I m not sure that the built of the site is the problem but the whole idea of social networking keeping you indoors and isolated to 'communicate'

I don't spend much time on facebook, I don't care for it much. I think it can isolate in another sense. I think the reason I don't get on it much is because I don't want to see what everyone's doing. It makes me feel super lonely sometimes. I don't know how to explain it.

It is true. And from what i hear, even more and more people realize this. I see on sites that facebook has reached a peak and now is kind of loosing popularity..

Not really. I guess it depends on what you're using it for.. Sometimes it can actually bring people together who lost touch. If your someone ho just uses it for games though, then yes it can isolate you. Or if you spend all day on Facebook.

Well, the obvious answer is that but I begin having doubts for myself.... I seem to devote too much time on Facebook... And I think it is not just me, Facebook is terrifingly widespread (even my grandma has a facebook account) :D
