hello amiga,
Depends on the promise and depends on the reason why a certain promise was broken.
Someone really did break a promise that he made and it hurts me.
I tried to tell myself not to believed in that person,but,it takes time before i was able to teach him a lesson.
Yes...i never believed him anymore and never listens to whatever reason he is giving me.
Wonder why people made promises and broke it after

Just tell him/her that do not make any promises that he/she cannot keep. promises should be keep. just say yes or no if are not sure keeping your promises. just give her/him another chance to prove to his/her self having the word of honor.

Mao gyud. Thank you the advice. But it's enough, no more second chance. I don't usually give second chances becauses it will only lead to a third one and it will be unending.

My personality is to just let things go. In some ways its better to do that, but sometimes it's not. It will eat at me and bother me for a while. It definitely hurts wether you get back at them or not. If I taught them a lesson I think it would make me feel worse and be on their same level...I don't want to be on anyone's level that breaks a promise. I feel a promise is important and holds high value.

First of all, thank you for leaving some lines :-) It really hurts when promises are made to be broken. It's okay for me when someone refused ahead instead of saying yes when he mean no and in the end everything will be in a mess because of the wrong decision. Promises really holds a great value.
