children are so updated with the new technology

So many years ago, we use to cool ourselves with electric fan. Using air condition hasn't discover yet. But now air condition is very much popular. Most of us can't leave without them.
It made me think to write about this because in this very early at 2:17am I tried to turn off the air condition of my mom because my mom ask me to turn on the electric fan but unfortunately we cannot do it since my niece who is 2 years old keep on crying saying don't turn off the air condition. I don't know nowadays children are so updated with the new technology that the world are introducing to us. Take for example using cellphones as early as 3 years old my other niece knows how to operate games in it, and so as using IPad for some games. I know there are a lot of things that you discover with some toddlers nowadays on how they are so get in touch with the new environment and gadgets....:D

I think it is just a normal phenomenon. When we were children we were considered advanced then the previous generation in learning quickly. When we are introduced to technology earlier we learn it better.
And now children as small as two or three year old also play with technology, play games and watches cartoon on TV.
If we are introduced to a technology earlier, we will grasp it better. Compare yourself with your father or anyone elder, you will come to know that even you will be better in technology the him.

It is our sole responsibility to guide towards the use of technology. Well i had already installed parental controls in my PC. But my advise is to know about the technology ourselves only then we will know about its appropriate use and guide accordingly.

I like your idea on how you control things in the new technology we have right now. Guidance and control is the best solution for this in order for us to be aware of the things that are not good. Have a good day.

It is normal for us to give them opportunity to explore the new discovery that being introduced. We might be thankful that they have this nowadays but we need to guide them in order for them not to miss the opportunity to appreciate with their childhood days.

Well, I guess that's the world their generation is living in right now. They should adapt to it and learn how to use it because it is already there when they were born. I think at an early age, their mind can absorb all the technological spurt that we have now. At the same time they are adapting to the fast paced technology making it necessary for them to learn how to use those gadgets in a fast rate. I do noticed that too. Those young people are really eager to cope up with the latest technology.

You're right with it. It is so nice if they are adapting with the new technology that we have right now but I just hope that it won't ruined their future and children won't really dependent with those so make their life easier because if that's the case they won't really appreciate the journey of life.

Yeah! Old school way of living still rocks! You get to develop instincts and perseverance if you don't have the technology. The children of today should learn the basics and fundamentals of living and that is old school no-help-from-technology living. Just try to guide them accordingly.

The child of the days are updated and I think the main reasons are:
1. From the beginning the infants are hearing the sounds of high valued technology and seeing the same.
2. They are being accustomed themselves with the new technologies.
3. They are handling the items with a fresh mind. Where our mind are full with many.
4. They have no fear of broking. We afraid to handle a new item deeply. We afraid for the cost.
5. Their curiosity and capturing capacity is better than us.

I agree with your response. We can't deny the fact that upon seeing the children nowadays we might be so proud that they are so skillful enough in adapting the new gadgets that are introduced with the new technology but we need to have a constant guidance to them so that they will appreciate their childhood days. And for them not to be so dependent with those gadgets.

I do not know how to use ipad though my wife has one for more than 3 years. I never tried to learn it. I am more comfortable with a fan only -because I am used to that in the earlier years. Ac now we use. have a good day.

So as I am I am not really up to date with the new gadgets that were introduced with the new technology we have right now. But there are some gadgets that I used but those are only simple one to use with since I am not good in using some new gadgets we have, most of all I need to make my life style as simple as possible. :D

that is good. simplicity is the essence of success. as I told already if we carry less luggage during travel we will have less problems. similarly if we have less worries in our mind our mind will be free. i hope u understand. have a good day.

yes its true. i had my first computer at 8 years probably and now my cousins had it at 5 or 6 :/ the technology is getting cheaper, and when they grow, they have curiosity and they "want" to learn. In the old they you learned other things because you dindt had the computers. But you have to be careful thought, so that they dont be addicted ;)

Yes, gadget nowadays are getting cheaper that most of us can easily have it already. That's why we need a constant guidance with the children for them not to miss the opportunity to appreciate their childhood days.

Well, I guess gone are the days when children use to play a lot along the streets, common games that usually makes them sweat. Nowadays, most children play, but at the comfort of their home in front of television sets or monitors. I could not really say that its bad but I think that it will surely affect their health later on. What can we do, maybe perhaps we should spend time with our kids and encourage them to play, play with something that well produce more physical activity, move their body and along with such, do some bonding with them.

You are right with that. I used to play some games at the street also and I did enjoy during my childhood days. Children nowadays are so lazy(some) since they stick to some video games, etc. at home. It can't be helpful since they can't help their body move maybe that's the reason why young ones are experiencing some illness that before only those old ones can acquire it but now even when they are young they can have that. The best thing we need to do right now is to help them out to explore the new things that are happening nowadays with our guidance so that they won't miss an opportunity to appreciate things in life when they are still a child.

Children are more updated because children were surrounded by that techhnology almost their whole lives. They were around at the time technology made huge advances (vcrs to dvd players, etc)
Children will always be more updated because their generation needs computers and such for school. They will also be more updated because it is mostly childrenn playing games like ps3 and xbox.

Yes, you're right with that. children nowadays are so good in the new gadgets that were introduce. Children are so updated with new technologies. But I just hope it won't make them lazy or it won't ruined their future as they are so dependent with the new technologies that we have now.

Absolutely right.My nephew can't just stand without air condition.He is so interested in laptops as early as 6 months that he really need to crawl just to touch the keys.It's annoying sometimes when you have important things to do and they can't just help but play with your phones and computer.

Yes, you are right sometimes we can't helped ourselves seeing those younger ones doing things with the new gadgets that were introduce. Sometimes we tend to be proud at them knowing that they are so good in using those things but sometimes we are annoyed since we as older to their age knows some disadvantage with those. I just hope children nowadays won't be so dependent with the new gadgets that are introduce nowadays.

yes i agree with you children are updated but this only refers to children who are well-off, what about the poor children, they don't know about these things also. just like me and other oldies, what i learned are only the basics of certain technologies even using the computer i'm not an expert that's what older people are supposed to be always behind when it comes to modern technologies.

We are the same. I am not the type of person that is so updated to the new gadgets that are being introduced. Take for example with the new cell phones that were introduced I am not that familiar about those but I am not envy to have those since the important thing that I wanted to have are just those basic..--- a phone that can receive a message vice versa and a phone that can make a call.:D I just hope children/ we can't be dependent to the new gadgets that are introduced so that we can still appreciate life.

Yes, it's incredible to think that in a few years I will not understand the new technologies and I'll have to ask to my sons how to use, like my parents do with me today. I grow up when the computers were been invented and I used them since the beggining, but it's amazing how my cousin of only 7 years know stuff that I never heard. I think this is because childhood is so different as used to be, now kids only play video game, watch TV or stay on computer.

Sometimes we are so proud seeing them that they are so updated on how to use those new gadgets that are being introduced with the new technology. But as older to them what they need right now is a guidance for them to know some of advantages and disadvantages of using those so that they won't be so dependent to the new gadgets.
