Hello Friends, My dad recently had by-pass surgery after a mild attack. Doctors said there were major blocks in the main coronary artery. so went for the surgery. Now he is alright and back home doing walking and diet food and medicines. If anybody have clear idea about the daily routine of a by-pass patient please give your opinions(Strict things to Follow) which can help me and others. Thank you

Hello Mohideen - It is better to go by the suggestions give by the doctors who are treating him. Normally in such cases - diet as prescribed is to be taken - avoid fat, avoid oil, ghee, sweets. Eat little food for more number of occasions every day. Go for walk and consume energy. Should not have worry. People who have had by-pass are living for nearly 25/30 years after that also. But they have to be strict disciplinarians in respect of food, behavior and day to day life style. I wish you daddy will soon be able to do his daily routine like attending office/shop/work.
