Common sense is what is easily and naturally conceived by members of a society, and is thus a trait of the society affecting is members. It evolves through intellectual interactions of the members and their practices. Other important factor involved in this evolution is the general prosperity of members of the society highly influenced by equitable distribution of wealth, as is derived in the article - http://theosoph-universeofmind.blogspot.com/2011/06/evolution-of-common-sense.html

Common Sense is also known as the "practical knowledge", right? I once read in a newspaper that a successful CEO's secret to success is practical knowledge or also known as common sense. Basically, the key to sharpen your common sense is to EXPERIENCE things which would help you to deal with complicated things. But IMO, common sense nowadays among people are not so common. Haha. No matter how rich or smart you can get, but if you don't have any common sense to live by, you're practically nothing.
