The sims 3 Pets

A lot of people have stated that the sims 3 pets is being released on October the 26th of this year. I believed that statement until i looked at this webpage that says it is not going to be released and that this expansion pack is fake. After reading I bgan to research more an found the game already on amazon (Not purchaseable, but can be held for you) and there was a video for the game. I am very confused and do not know who or what to believe. Does anyone know any information about this? I am dying for that expansion pack :p
