What a wonderful thing I seen yesterday I seen my first horse shoed!

It was so cool we went to a friends house to take him some groceries and he has the most beautiful horses. When we go out there he keeps teasing me about me taking one of them home. I want one so bad can hardly stand it but we need to clear out our pasture to get one. And believe me it is all we can do to keep the front yard kept up. We have three gardens so we can give vegies to our friends and family that don't have a garden. We have several flower beds to cut down on the grass mowing and have fresh flowers in the house. Well our friend keeps telling me he will give me one if I will wash his clothes that's funny though cause he never has much dirty anyway. While we was there the guy that does the shoeing came up and shoed his horse that I want. You should have seen it before the guy would take a hoof in his hand he would touch the horse and then just pick up the leg and it was done before you know it. Have you ever seen a horse shoed?

No, I've never got to experience this event. I do have a suggestion for you though. Maybe you should just take the horse to your house and it can help you keep the grass mowed. Best Wishes!

Hi Sswallace. Would bring him home in a heart beat but would have to put fences all around our flower beds to keep him from eating the flowers.....LOL Have a good pasture in the back but is full of a lot of trees and weeds that need to be cut down even have a barn for the horse but no way to feed him during the winter months. No, I have never had the pleasure to see a horse shoed even though when I was growing up on a Farm, I did have friends who raised and rode horses all the time. Now it would still be cool to watch one get shoed and such even though I am not sure I could consider owning or riding one.

I loved watching this horse getting shoed. You would think it would hurt but seemed like the horse really didn't mind it at all. I love the thought of owning a horse. I wish I had one I could ride everyday. I would go all over the place if I owned my own horse.
