Floods....where does it all come from?

Floods - Floods in Southern Alberta
Canada
June 23, 2011 2:36pm CST
This spring has been the year for floods for Canada and the US. We still have people in some region here flooded. They have been out of their home since the beginning of may now. Today they talked about floods in Manitoba and Saskatchewan and North Dakota. They say its from the heavy rain and the snow melting......scuze me? I know someone who lives up North ......way up North and he says that its still quite cold there and the snow is not melting that fast. They had snowfalls last week!!! As for rain, well it hasnt been raining more than other years. As for snowfalls, we arent getting as much snow as we used to either. A few years ago, we had SO MUCH snow that our snowbanks were over 20 feet high......yet there was no floods!! Some say its because they open the dams and not because of rain or snow melting. I think that might be true. If the snow is not melting that much or that fast way up North and if it hasnt been raining more than other years.....why all the floods all over Canada and the US? What do you think is going on? http://www.jungleapocalypse.com/bunker-studios/mega-flooding-in-north-america-2011/ http://www.globallethbridge.com/world/Flooding+causes+hundreds+residents+evacuate+Southern+Alberta/3181846/story.html

That was interesting to see and do know that there is such unseasonable weather everywhere. Here we have had unseasonable cool temperatures and lots of rain too. It is odd to hear so much rain everywhere and can't help but think that mother nature is upset somehow. lol See we get one day of really hot and humid then for a couple weeks we get cool breezes and lots of rain. It is not usual for this time of the year for us. Though I am on one side glad we are not in really hot temperatures but do worry about the many floods as my boyfriends mother out in Arkansas has had several floodings in her basement in the last couple of months. I don't know why the unseasonable weather changes everywhere and like you wonder why too.

I sure hope your mother in law will stay safe. Here too we had a few hot days and now its cool again and raining on and off. They say the snow melting up North is responsible but last night on TV there was a man living up North and he said its so dry, they are afraid for bush fires. So where is all this water coming from then??? Thanks!!

Over here, there was a long drought several provinces for some time.Last month a soothing rain fell on the parched earth. However,"It never rains but it pours",hardly have we finished saying " fight a drought”,when we began to prevent flood.Even if We have entered into the rainy season (usually,in June and July,in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze river),but the weather is a bit unusual. No doubt,It has to do with global warming.

Ive heard of too much rain in your area. I sure hope you're staying safe and "dry". Its too much water or not enough. Lets hope we'll get a balance soon. Thanks!

For me it is a global warming and in the bible in the last day they where many calamity would happened you never no for this time because it will be happened first so that the Armageddon is made.

SO it would mean that the floods are God made then and not man made. Im not familiar with that part of the bibble because its too scary. Thanks for sharing!
